Community Resources

At Advance Home Health Care, in addition to our home skilled and rehabilitation services, we strive to be a community resource. We reach out at many different levels to assist our community and further grow our company as a resource. For our 'Community Resource' page we have pulled from many different community resources and provided links for our website visitors to further assist those in need.

Northern Virginia Fall Prevention Coalition is a team of seasoned professionals who are proud to be implementing the CDC's 'Preventing Falls' program into the communities of Northern Virginia. NVFPC's primary focus is to improve on the existing resources of the public practitioners at the state level, address the need for additional intervention services, take visible positions on proposed legislation impacting our elders, identify and promote all services that promote long range planning for positive change and quality of life.

The Loudoun Senior Interest Network is a committee of the Loudoun Human Services Network which is comprised of Loudoun County departments as well as professionals, business people, community volunteers, and other members of the community who care about sharing information and increasing access to services impacting the quality of life for Loudoun County seniors.
TreatmentDiaries.com is a unique online resource, providing REAL information exchange between people coping with or caring for anyone with a chronic illness or rare disease. This virtual support group is free and always available; offering a safe place to anonymously keep multiple diaries of your daily journey, across more than one condition - either privately or shared out with others, allowing for shared coping strategies, support for others and the exchange of information.

NARC improves the quality and objectivity of advice offered to seniors. Quality and caring are the standard marketing themes throughout the senior services industries. Membership and certification provide a means for quality providers to differentiate themselves from their competitors. The participation of informational publications and web sites for seniors and industry professionals, together with industry leaders like the chairs of the established provider networks such as Senior Network assures that NARC membership is  recognized as an earmark of responsible business practices and high professional standards.
